Joe Biden Wants States To Prepare For ‘Remote Voting’ For November Election

Former Vice President Joe Biden has a new plan for the November Presidential Election should the Coronavirus outbreak still affect the country at that time — remote or virtual voting.

According to Breitbart, Biden made the suggestion on Tuesday night during an appearance on MSNBC’s 11th Hour, also saying that there’s no reason why the November election should be postponed when the technology exists to enable remote voting procedures.

Brian Williams, who hosted the program, asked Biden his thoughts on what could happen in November should Coronavirus still be a thing.

“God forbid we’re still dealing with this in November. God forbid we’re dealing with some kind of a regional or climate rebound of this in November. Do you think it’s incumbent upon the secretaries of state in all 5o states to ensure this is the one election with secure, remote voting possibility?” Williams asked the Democratic front-runner.

“Yes. I think they should be doing that now. I think they should be doing that now, planning on it,” Biden responded.

The former VP also suggested that, much like the new style of Coronavirus testing, drive-through voting could be another possible alternative. He also predicts that absentee ballots will also be a big part of the election.
