If you listen to the mainstream media for five minutes, you’ll quickly come to realize their agenda — and that’s to make President Donald Trump appear weak or incompetent in his response to COVID-19.
While this has been their objective since day one, their anti-Trump biases have clouded them from seeing the brilliance in how the president has handled the coronavirus crisis.
During the presidential debate between former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders, they both talked about Trump’s need to take “unprecedented” actions.
And boy, has he.
While the United States had just a few cases last month, Trump banned all travel to and from China. Then, he did it again with Europe, the United Kingdom, and Ireland.
There’s nothing more unprecedented than defying all the globalization norms and doing literally everything to protect the homeland and her people.
Here’s where it gets interesting though — and something the small brains of media pundits won’t ever come to appreciate. Never have we seen such an organized gathering between the government sector and the business sector, who usually butt heads.
Would George Bush or Barack Obama ever call together the CEOs and executives of pharmaceutical and retail giants, asking that they work in unison with the administration to curtail the virus spread?
I don’t think so — and that’s exactly what Trump did. That’s why he was elected, because he knows that the private sector can move faster and more efficiently than any governmental department ever could.
Trump brought Walmart onboard, who offered to have COVID-19 testing done in their parking lots. This is an excellent move considering that “ninety percent of the U.S. population lives within 10 miles of a Walmart,” per CNBC.
Additionally, he also hosted brainstorming meetings with technology companies and banks, who will help the triage testing process and minimize the economic impact, respectively. He’s brought in governors, who have followed the footsteps of the administration and taken radical action to keep Americans safe.
The president has exemplified real leadership in this once-in-a-lifetime crisis.
He’s managed to bring everyone together when everything is at stake.
