While the mainstream media along with the 2020 Democratic presidential candidates would have you believe that President Donald Trump is hated around the world along with claims that there’s more anti-American sentiment than ever, what happened in India on Monday is proof that their claims simply aren’t true.
According to Breitbart, the president and First Lady Melania Trump took a planned trip to India and while large crowds were expected to greet the American president and his wife, the number of people who showed up to catch a glimpse of Trump speak was massive and, no matter what side of the political aisle you’re on, impressive.
Trump met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and teamed up to give a wonderful speech at the massive gathering at what was called the “Namaste Trump” rally, where over 100,000 Indians showed up to support the two world leaders.
“The story of the Indian nation is a tale of astounding progress, a miracle of democracy, extraordinary diversity, and above all, a strong and noble people,” Trump told the roaring crowd.
“America loves India, America respects India, and America will always be faithful and loyal friends to the Indian people,” eliciting even more applause from the host nation.
Trump touted Modi’s positive impact on the highly-populated country, which has struggled in the past to modernize and catch up with the rest of the world on various fronts. The president acknowledged the country’s greater access to the internet, a thriving middle-class population and overall economic improvements under Modi’s watch.

“India’s rise as a prosperous and independent nation is an example to every nation all over the world and one of the most outstanding achievements of our century,” Trump told the large audience.
Trump also doubled down on the fight against terrorism, promising to work with India to help stop the spread of terrorism all around the world.
The president went on to praise the country, and Modi, on a number of issues, perhaps one of the most impactful being the issue of trade, in which the president indicated that a big trade deal was in the works between India and the United States, although he admitted Modi was a tough negotiator.
“India’s rise as a prosperous and independent nation is an example to every nation all over the world and one of the most outstanding achievements of our century,” Trump said.
